"At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music" - Psalm 27v6b
I am so excited for this Sunday. Let's just be in solid prayer in eager anticipation for what God is going to do. I really mean that. You can pray specifically that God's name is lifted high and that he would come in all his glory. Pray that walls are broken down in people lives and that the church would respond to God with overwhelming excitement. Let it be our hearts desire to see God lifted so high, in our lives and the lives of the people we're leading, and as we lift God high in musical worship it changes how we live, and our world is changed forever....
Just so you know, Debs is preaching on the good news, and the way we show that good news through our lives and actions. Be in prayer for her also, that God would use her and talk through her and people would respond to what Christ has to say to them and be changed.
On a practical note, this is a youth service, so I'm fully ampted to change things up, so musically just work out fresh parts to the songs. Also if you have idea's or stuff God's layed on your heart...let me know!
Worship Practise is on THURSDAY (18 June) from 7pm onwards.
Sound check is on SUNDAY (21 June) at 4pm.
There is a choir, but they'll only join us on Sunday....
