Hey Everyone…
So for this Friday I’m super excited. It’s the last “youth worship” for the term, and we’re going big! I know last week everyone was dead, but despite that, his term we have seen such growth in the way the youth responds to God through there worship. I have never been stretched so much in leading worship, than I have this term. This Friday, it’s not about us, no really, it has nothing to do with us. It doesn’t have anything to do with what we like, and what we don’t like, nothing to do with our image, our desires or ideals. It’s about lifting God high and changing how we live. It’s about seeing the lost come to know him, and the rebels returning to him. It about the broken hearts getting a brand new start with a brand new life through what Christ did for us. I know I say that almost every week…but it’s what worship is all about. It’s about breaking down the walls that divide our heart, our lives, and world, and throwing everything towards lifting God’s name high, and letting him change our family, school, community, country and world through what he wants with us.
So before you begin practicing and preparing for Friday I want you to meditate on the words of the song below, and as you sing them in your heart may God break your heart and show you his heart for these youth….

Please be in prayer for this Friday! We’re going to be fasting on Wednesday, I know some of you are writing exams, so you don’t necessarily have to fast food, just give up something that is valuable to you!
