This term has gone super fast...and this is the last time that there is musical worship with a whole band this term. I'm excited, like I always am, for Friday. For some reason I really battled choosing songs this week - don't know why - I just really battled! But I eventually got there.
We're going a new song this week - I know that we have brought in quite a few new songs over the past week - but for some reason this song has continually been on my heart - so we're going to go with it. It is a difficult song with tricky timing - so you're going to need to spend some time working on it before Tuesday + Friday!
Another thing that God has been speaking to me about is prayer - this week we're going to be fasting on Thursday - I know some of you are writing exams - so maybe give something - other than food - up (fasting studyng doesn't count....:-) ) As always, be committed this week to preparing our hearts and praying for Friday. Also, to try something different this week, we're going to spending sometime after practise (7.00 - 7.30) praying for friday - you don't HAVE to stay for that - and again, I know some of you are writing exams so you don't have much time - but if you could stay it would be amazing.
Practise on Tuesday (8 September) is from 6 - 7pm.
Prayer Meeting on Tueday (8 September) is from 7 - 7.30pm
Fasting - On Thursday (10 September)
Soundcheck on Friday (11 September) is at 5pm

One more thing...You need to get songs that you have written to me by the end of this week! Do it!!
